Awnings and Canopies

Awnings and canopies are a great way to add character to your house, protect yourself and your furnishings from sunlight or open up opportunities to enjoy the outside with alfresco dining or evening drinks.

Now that the UK Smoking Ban is in force, awnings are also increasingly useful to pubs and many other businesses and buildings and we offer a number of products aimed at providing a solution.

Fold arm awning
The fold arm is ideal for patios and areas where shade is required whilst people moving around are using the area underneath. Free from any obstructions such as supporting arms it can extend out as far as 4 metres.

Drop arm awning
More suitable for windows and doors where a limited amount of projection is required; the drop arm can be lowered beyond the right angle to combat the rising or setting sun glare.

Dutch Canopy
Similar to the drop arm awning the Dutch canopy is ideal for windows with very limited projection space.

Conservatory awnings
The best way of keeping your conservatory cool enough to use in the high heat of summer is to have a blind that covers the exterior of the roof and prevents heat from getting into the room at all. Extends up to 1.25 metres beyond the front of the conservatory to create additional shade.

Terrace frame awning
Outside areas can only be smoke friendly if they are either unroofed or there are permanent openings in the walls of any structure which constitute more than 50% of its perimeter, not including windows and doors.

Our TSPQ awning is ideal for commercial covered seating areas. The awning is built from an aluminium powder coated framework which a canvas cover rolls out into. The awning can be coupled for very large areas and is powered with an electric motor.

The front section can be set to lower to an exact position or it can be dropped to the ground, to create a fully enclosed room side panels can be filled to add space and revenue!

Commercial umbrellas and parasols

Electric operation is not a luxury these days as it actually encourages use of your blind. A sun and wind sensor means that the blind operates completely on its own whether you are in or out; this doubles as a great burglar deterrent!
